EAL and multilingual teaching staff

As well as fully supporting children who have English as an additional language (EAL), we boast 4 teachers who can speak additional languages too.

Ellen McCartney – Our Wood Lane site manager Ellen is both French and Italian speaking . She has helped many of our French and Italian speaking families to feel part of our Preschool Community.

Dipika Chohan – Hindi and Gujarati speaking . Dipika has helped many Hindi and Gujarati speaking children settle into our preschools.

Shehnaz Shah – our finance manager is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi. Shehnaz loves to support families who need help with translation.

Michelle Sanderson-  is Makaton trained and enjoys teaching the children new signs every week.
